Introducing Myself

For anyone who doesn't know, I'm Russell Burlingame. I'm Nancy Navetta's son, which makes me Betty Lowe's grandson (the oldest of those). I grew up in Syracuse, live in Brooklyn and write about comics for ComicRelated. I'm a freelancer in a number of other places as well, including Wizard magazine and Newsarama, but most recently I've been writing some PR and stuff for the Ralph Nader campaign. I recently helped bestselling investigative journalist Greg Palast prepare a voter's guide (entitled Steal Back Your Vote), and helped place a series of full-page Palast/Ted Rall comics in Hustler....Umm, nevermind that last link, it's probably not good. I'm dating a fantastic girl named Catherine (see those previous pictures), who lives in Chinatown (NYC) with nine roommates in an old, converted brothel (these guys constitute most of my friends in the City).
